📝 Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of whole milk
- 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of USimplySeason Harissa paste (recipe below)
- Salt and pepper to taste
📝 Ingredients for Harissa Paste:
2 tablespoons of USimplySeason Harissa powder
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
Juice of half a lemon
1-2 tablespoons of wate

- Combine Harissa powder, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Gradually add water until a desired paste consistency is achieved.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions and set aside.
- Lower heat, stir in cheese until melted, and mix in Harissa paste. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until well-coated.
- Serve immediately for a smoky, spicy twist on a classic comfort dish!
