Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp USimplySeason Chinese Five Spice
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Wet Ingredients
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat and Prepare – Preheat your oven 375°F(190°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease it
Combine Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, Chinese five spice powder, salt, and sugar.
Combine Wet Ingredients – In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, water, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Combine Wet and Dry – Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
